1. About the clinic
Cardiology Clinic is an independent face-to-face cardiology clinic at 158 Finchley Road, London NW3 5HH. The clinic is provided by Dr Mahmood Ahmad, Specialist in Cardiology, GMC registered — No. 6071047.
This is not an NHS service. Your NHS care remains available to you, and the clinic does not replace your GP, NHS cardiologist, or any other treating clinician.
Appointments normally last 30 minutes and are for assessment, explanation, and advice about non-emergency cardiology concerns. This is not an emergency service.

2. Appointments and booking
Appointments take place face to face at 158 Finchley Road, London NW3 5HH, a short walk from Finchley Road Underground station.
Appointments are requested by email only at drmahmoodclinic@pm.me. There is no online account, no online booking system, and no payment through the website.
Any confirmation and appointment details will be sent to the email address you provide. Please check your spam folder if a reply does not arrive within a couple of working days.
3. Payment
There is no expectation that you pay anything for your consultation.
The website does not take payments, store card details, or provide an online account.
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
If you can no longer attend, please email as soon as possible so the appointment can be offered to someone else.

- Rescheduling: email drmahmoodclinic@pm.me if you need to request a different appointment time.
5. Clinical scope and limitations
Cardiology Clinic provides face-to-face assessment, explanation, and advice for non-emergency cardiology concerns. The following services are not offered at this clinic:
- Emergency or urgent cardiac care
- Ongoing monitoring between appointments
- Investigation or treatment that requires hospital facilities
If an investigation or treatment not available at the clinic is clinically indicated, Dr Ahmad will advise you clearly and provide guidance on appropriate NHS or private referral pathways.
This service provides a clinical opinion based on the information available at the time of your appointment. It does not replace your GP, NHS cardiologist, or any other treating clinician.
6. Patient responsibilities
To make the most of your appointment and to enable safe, accurate assessment, you agree to:
- Provide an accurate and complete account of your symptoms, medical history, and current medications at the time of booking and during your consultation.
- Inform the clinic of any changes to your health between booking and your appointment.
- Provide your GP details so that a letter can be sent to your GP after your consultation.
- Do not send detailed medical records by email unless Dr Ahmad asks you to do so.
- Call 999 or attend A&E immediately if you develop chest pain, syncope (fainting), severe breathlessness, or any symptom that feels like an emergency — and not wait for your appointment.
7. Data protection
Your personal and clinical information is processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We collect and use your information only to provide and administer the Cardiology Clinic service.
A letter is sent to your GP after every consultation. Full details of how your data is collected, stored, and used are set out in our Privacy Notice.
8. Liability
Dr Ahmad practises in accordance with GMC Good Medical Practice guidelines and holds full professional indemnity insurance for private practice.
Our service provides a clinical opinion based on information available at the time of assessment. While we exercise reasonable care and skill, we cannot guarantee specific clinical outcomes.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made. If you have a booking confirmed before any update, the terms in force at the time of booking apply to that appointment.
